of Video Game Music
Join KMFA Classical 89.5 and Density512 for Power Up: The Art of Video Game Music, an immersive event exploring the artistry of gaming music and its role in the symphonic world. Taking place Friday, March 14, 2025, from 3:00–8:00 PM at KMFA Studios (41 Navasota St., Austin, TX), this one-of-a-kind experience combines live orchestral performances, panel discussions, and interactive gaming showcases featuring renowned composers, game developers, and musicians. This event is open house-style, so attendees are welcome to come and go as they please throughout the day.

Density512 is a hotbed of radical creativity. We are chamber orchestra and collective of brave, open-minded musicians who champion contemporary programming. We produce imaginatively curated experiences, amplify the voices of groundbreaking and emerging artists, and cultivate interdisciplinary collaborations.
Our live productions tell stories through music in wide array of performance genres including narrative concerts, opera, ballet, sound installation, and festival showcases.
Our in-house new music media and record label DensitySOUND is home to 4 records, 2 films, and 2 podcasts. Committed to accessibility and reaching community around the world, we play in web installation and other creative digital media.
